Zeth Moberg, 6 dan is the founder of the club.
Zeth took up judo already in the late 50´s under the tutelage of the real pioneers, legends like Bruno Adler and Karl Wöst, together with among others Kurt Durevall and Attila Meszaros.
The first contact with Aikido was a demonstration in the late 60´s in Stockholm, given by the pop-group Ola and the Janglers. Shortly thereafter, autumn of 1969, Zeth began to train aikido at the aikido section of Göteborgs Judoklubb where his teacher Takeji Tomita was about to arrive from Japan.
From the aikido section of Göteborgs Judoklubb a new club, Göteborgs Aikidoklubb was formed, with Zeth as one of the founders. Zeth also started Mössebergs Aikidoklubb, presently Falköpings Aikidoklubb, which under the guidance of Bertil Floryd came down with Billingens Aikidoklubb in Skövde.
"The Aiki-budo picture of the world agrees by and large with what is seen through the lens of the new science of complexity.
The emphasis is on self-organizing processes, untainted observation, dynamic flow of energy and intuitive decisions.
Aikido helps us to physically, emotionally and intellectually understand our self and the complex environments in which we interact - where an ethical stature is the basis for long-term development."
